Regency Park Nursing and Rehab shares a success story with Melvin Miller in the lead role.
Melvin was admitted to Regency Park in late October. With help from the therapy department, staff implemented a customized rehabilitation program to address some functional deficits.
When Melvin arrived, he used a four-wheeled walker to ambulate with stand by assist. He progressed in his balance, both in standing and walking, and he is now able to walk with a cane.
Melvin has left Regency Park for an assisted living facility. He’s pictured (center) with his sister and brother-in-law, Janet (left) and Bob Owens (right). “We wish Melvin and his family happiness and health in this holiday season,” a Regency Park spokesperson said.
